My biggest pain point was finding that perfect balance between style, comfort, and optical quality without breaking the bank. I’d seen a few friends sporting rimless glasses, and the almost-invisible aesthetic really appealed to me. It felt like a modern, sophisticated choice that wouldn't overshadow my features. This desire for unobtrusive comfort and clear vision led me to start searching online for a new pair.

I am happy to report that they sell quality frames and the lenses are superior to what I have gotten at Lens Crafters! And that is saying a lot! I did pay for the water and fingerprint protection coating and it has proven to be a wise choice!" I couldn't agree more; the optical quality has genuinely surprised me. However, my journey hasn't been without its frustrations, primarily concerning customer service, which Denise also highlighted. "Don't expect to hear from anyone if you reach out by email. Don't expect to really get help with the 'chat', even though you will be transferred to 'live agent', or so they say. I am not sold on that as truth." I've had a couple of minor inquiries and found the response times via email to be quite slow, and the live chat experience felt a bit impersonal, leading to a sense of disconnect. While my specific prescription didn't include bifocals, Denise's comment about the bifocal height — "The height of the bifocal is a tad low for me, so still getting used to that. So, if you do order a bifocal, have your eye doctor give the correct height that you can pass on to Glasses USA…..they have a standard height which is NOT for everyone. The true height of the bifocal is measured on a 1:1 and goes by the individual eyes" — is a crucial detail for anyone considering a similar purchase, emphasizing the importance of precise measurements.
In summary, my experience with the Ultralight Rimless Cat Eye Glasses has been a mixed bag, but ultimately leaning positive. The product itself, in terms of frame quality, lightness, and lens clarity (especially with the coatings), far exceeded my expectations and truly solved my pain points of heavy, uncomfortable glasses. The initial excitement of their weightlessness has grown into daily satisfaction. However, the customer service aspect is undeniably a significant drawback. As Denise LeFrancois vividly expressed, "Firstly, be aware that the company replies to every negative review with the same answer….\"there was an issue with the product so it had to be remade\"! Garbage answer. I was ripped off for express shipping on several pairs and would never do that again!… The customer service is the among the worst I have ever experienced." She concluded with, "I would have given them a 5 star but the worst ever customer service brings it down to a 3 star. What a shame… I actually just changed the 3 star to a 2 star because of the piss poor customer service. Laughable." While my own customer service interactions weren't as severe as Denise's, they were definitely not stellar, confirming a noticeable weakness. Yet, I want to add that regarding returns, Denise found: "Finally, I also read in other review that they only accept ONE glass for return. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I have sent back 3 pairs so far and may not be done until I find the perfect pair for my face. THEY DO REFUND YOUR MONEY ON ALL GLASSES SENT IN FOR RETURN! Just be reasonable and return them within 14 days." This clarity on their return policy is valuable, even though I haven't personally utilized it. I would recommend Cinily Eyewear for those who prioritize quality prescription lenses and lightweight, stylish frames at a reasonable price, and who are prepared for potentially slow or challenging customer service if issues arise. For specific needs like lined bifocals, I strongly advise consulting your eye doctor for precise measurements before ordering.
