Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning for others. I am utterly frustrated with this company. I ordered glasses on March 30th, specifically paying for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses broke, leaving me in a bind. But day 5 rolled around, and my order was still in production. Day 10, still in production! By day 11, I had to call and ask for a shipping refund. They processed it, seeming like they do it all the time, but the glasses are STILL six days out from delivery. It's now day 19 or whatever, and I still have no glasses! I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because this level of incompetence and disregard for a customer's urgent need is simply unacceptable.
Customer: "I'm calling about order #WP12345. I placed it on March 30th and paid for express 3-5 day shipping because I need these glasses, my old ones are broken. It's day 11 and they're still not here, in fact, they were still in production until recently!"
CS Rep: "I'm so sorry to hear about the delay with your order, and I completely understand your frustration, especially given your urgent need. I see here that your express shipping fee was indeed refunded on April 10th. It looks like the glasses are now out of production and have a projected delivery date of April 19th. We deeply apologize for the extended wait."
Customer: "A refund for shipping is nice, but it doesn't solve the problem of me not being able to see! Six more days on top of an already 11-day wait for 'express' shipping? This is ridiculous. Why offer express shipping if you can't deliver on it?"
